11th Day
This day is spent for the final voting of the Capitular Document on the theme SSA: A Family for Families. After thorough study, reflection and discussion both at the Commission and at the Plenary, the documents are presented for voting. All the capitulars exercise that sacred act of making a decision in the light of the Spirit, aware that this document contains the priorities that our Congregation decides to focus on, in our desire to concretize our Charism in the coming six years. The hard work carried out by the 5 Commissions bear fruit through this output, and it is prayed for that it will not remain as written texts but be transformed into life.
The Commission work is an experience of collaboration as a family. Each one was able to transcend the barrier of language differences through openness, enthusiasm and love for our Religious Family.
In the evening, the Sisters give a simple farewell program to Bro. PaulRaj, the invited Chapter facilitator. His role in the Chapter is accomplished when the journey of the Chapter Theme is over, and is set to return to India the following day. Mother Francesca expresses on behalf of the Congregation, her gratitude for his diligent animation, through his kind and brotherly ways and adding that WE HAVE FELT not only as facilitator BUT PART OF OUR “family”.
The LASA units of South India have supported us spiritually through their prayers
