17^th Day

Mother Francesca, after her election, invited each of us to live in this sesennium: prayer, unity and poverty. It is our desire to live these recommendations that Mother asks of us, which is why today was a day to reflect on the vow of poverty in the light of the Guidelines for economic administration.

The day began with the prayer by the Juniors of Cameroon, who helped us to live in the presence of the Holy Trinity. Sr. Julia Victor thanked the Formators and each one of the Formees of the different Provinces/Delegations for having prepared very well the daily prayer.

Sr. Sabrina Pollini, General Economer of our Institute led this time of reflection to introduce us to some elements that enriched the Document on Administration, which has already been translated into English and work is underway for the translation into Portuguese and Spanish. 

We exchanged our ideas to express what was still not clear, some doubts and also some experiences were shared in order to better live our vow of poverty.

At the end of the day there were votes for the corrections and additions presented to the XXXIV General Chapter on the Text of the Guidelines for Economic Administration and also the various resolutions.

Before each session of this week, each Province and Delegation presented a video on the theme of the Family. Today was the turn of  Sisters from Brazil, East India and our Sisters from Peru who, in addition to the video, presented a very beautiful dance in Peruvian costume.
