MESSAGE OF THE HOLY FATHER

PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

Lord Jesus, to encounter you
is to let your gaze
reach us where we have hidden ourselves.
Only your eyes see and love our whole self:
give us the light of your Spirit
so that by looking at you
we get to know our true face as children who are loved.

Lord Jesus, to choose you
is letting you overcome the bitterness
of our solitude and the fear of our frailties;
only with you does reality get filled with life.
Teach us the art of loving:
an adventure that is possible
because you are in us and with us.

Lord Jesus, to follow you
is to make dreams blossom and to take decisions:
it is to give ourselves over to the best of life.
Draw us to you to encounter you
and call us to follow you to receive from you
the gift of vocation:
to grow, develop
and become a gift for others. Amen.
