IV WORLD DAY OF THE POOR

Stretch forth your hand to the poor

“Stretch forth your hand to the poor” (Sir 7:32). With these words from the ancient book of Sirach, Pope Francis proposes his reflection for the IV World Day of the Poor which will be celebrated throughout the Church on Sunday 15^th November. It is a Message that enters directly into the dramatic moment which the whole world is experiencing due to Covid-19, and which many countries are still fighting, in their efforts to bring aid to those who are innocent victims.

Let us follow the various initiatives and let us too stretch forth our hand to the poor whom God places on our path.
