2^nd Day

The Second Day of the Chapter was devoted to the presentation of the Report of the Status of the Congregation. At the onset of her Report, Mother Francesca Sarcia expressed that it was indeed not easy to contain in it the life of the Institute, nevertheless, she described comprehensively the 7-year journey through statistical data and records of events. The capitulars listened with attention because it reflected how the Charism and the Spirituality are lived in the ambit of community life, formation, ministry, economy, service of authority and the collaboration in the Church.

Before the lunch break, each Chapter member received the copy of the General Plan of Formation, which was already approved.

In the afternoon, the Reporting is continued, in which the economic and patrimonial situation of the Institute was also presented with great clarity, presented by the General Financial Administrator, Sr. Sabrina Pollini.

The reporting concluded with Mother Francesca’s expression of gratitude to the Sisters of the General Council, the General Secretary, General Financial Administrator and every Sister for the collaboration she experienced in her term of service. Moreover, referring to the lights and shadows in the status of the Institute, she exhorts the assembly to focus more on what gives a future of hope to the Institute. The capitulars left the leave the Chapter hall urged to reflect further the content of the report, bearing in mind what Mother General quoted from Mother Enrichetta’s conviction of “not to fear the suppression of the Congregation but infidelity”.
