3^rd Day

The third day of the Chapter was dedicated to personal reflection on the Report of the Status of the Congregation, followed by sharing of personal reflections, clarifications and suggestions etc.  Sisters took time to express their gratitude for the realistic report which was written with prayerful reflections stating clearly the lights and shadows of the journey of the Congregation. The sharing continued up to 17.00 hours followed by a short break. At 17.30 hours Mother Francesca Sarcià, welcomed and introduced to the Capitular Assembly, Bro Paul Raj S.G., the facilitator for the Chapter. This session was a immediate preparation for the Chapter. Through the reading taken from Exodus 3:1-17 (Burning Bush and Moses) he guided the Capitulars to enter deeply into the General Chapter through prayerful reflection:

Level One: General Chapter is a call to enter the sacred ground  

      a) You are called by name to this XXXIV General Chapter

      b) God meets you Where you are

      c) General Chapter is a Sacred Ground

      d) Removing sandals is a call to enter a true home – A Family- SSA/SAP

Level Two: General Chapter is a call to move from “I” to “We”

LASA Group of  Santa Rosa and General Pico together with the Sisters of the Argentine Delegation,  unite in prayer so that the Holy Spirit enlightens each of the Sisters of the XXXIV General Chapter.
