Today’s session began with a prayer prepared by the Novices of Bolarum, Central India. This is a beautiful initiative that makes us feel close to our younger Sisters. The animation of Fr. Paul has been also a beautiful and enriching experience. With great simplicity introduced to us the methodology and means in order to deepen the theme of the XXXIV General Chapter.
He explained the context, process and content, through the research method “Appreciative Inquiry” where we can re-discover that which motivates the congregation, the communities and the person.
We were invited to DISCOVER what motivates us to PLAN and TO RENEW that which makes life better.
Today we were asked to dream …Dream for our Religious Family, the Church and the World. We had a spontaneous sharing all through the afternoon, where we expressed our insights, sentiments and dreams. Many sisters recalled their initial attraction to the SSA, and were grateful to the Sisters who welcomed and accompanied them as they journeyed the initial steps of religious life. They were very beautiful examples of how the Sisters of Saint Anne embodied the family spirit. |
