“The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few” (Mt 9: 38)
With this theme, we began the IV Sunday of Easter when we celebrated Jesus the Good Shepherd and the 59th World Day of Prayer for Vocations. Within the framework of this event, a Youth Vocation Meeting was held on 7th May, 2022 at the Santa Isabel Institute (Formosa, Argentina), from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., ending with the Eucharist.
We meditated on the theme of Vocation in general; we made known the specific vocations offered by the Church: consecrated life, priestly life, married life and missionary life. Prayer was favoured and points for reflection were offered, so that the young people could discover the call that God makes to each one.
We had a Charism-Expo where the Congregations, Seminarians and different Youth Movements, made known their way of life and apostolic service within our Diocese; all this was accompanied by music, songs, group work, and as we previously stated, we ended with Holy Mass.
We had the joy of welcoming many young people from different Parishes, who actively participated and visited the different stands where the Charism, Spirituality and Mission that each Religious Family, the Seminary and Youth Movements have received from the Holy Spirit and gifted to the Church.
